Personalized Guitar Lessons
Make sure you get guitar lessons in the style of music you want to play! When you contact me, we will discuss the kind of music you like and what type of guitar you want to learn on. Finally, we determine where you are in your guitar playing abilities. All this goes into a guitar lesson plan and curriculum that will help you to learn the guitar as quickly as possible. I have years of experience teaching and performing classical, bluegrass, jazz, country, worship, blues, and rock guitar.
Qualified Guitar Instruction
No semester minimums are required. Each guitar student here is on a month-to-month basis. I teach out of my home guitar studio in Mechanicsville just north of I-295 near Chamberlayne Rd. (US 301). It’s conveniently accessible from Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, and Richmond VA.
I have taught for over 15 years and have earned a master’s degree from UNC School of the Arts where I focused on guitar performance and pedagogy. I have also toured internationally with a variety of rock groups.
Suzuki Guitar Lessons
Suzuki guitar lessons are a great and fun way for kids to learn the guitar. It is specifically designed for children ages 5-12 to learn and play the guitar. I am one of the rare, registered Suzuki guitar instructors in Richmond VA!
